| Gerd Kraus-prawdziwy człowiek orkiestra: multiinstrumentalista, rzeźbiarz, autor przedstawień teatralnych, reżyser, arteterapeuta i nauczyciel sztuki, urodzony w niemieckim Odenwald mieszkający w Bad Berneck i w Santiago na Kubie. Kraus studiował od 1960 roku malarstwo, następnie pedagogikę. Żyjąc jako wolny artysta i rzeźbiarz założył w 1969 roku zespół LIMBUS 3 i 4, z którym wydał 2 płyty oraz zagrał wiele koncertów. W kolejnych latach Karus był zaangażowany w różne projekty kulturalne oraz pracował jako docent w różnych instytucjach. Współtworzył Monachijskie Centrum Wolnej Muzyki (Freies Musik Zentrum München), w którym działał jako arteterapeuta i nauczyciel edukacji teatralnej. W czasie dwunastoletniej współpracy z centrum Kraus stworzył wiele cykli obrazów m.in. PAN-cykl, IKARUS-cykl, cykl obrazowych geometrii i portretów. Gerd Kraus jako artysta miał okazje przedstawiać swoje prace szerokiej publiczności w wielu miejscach, m.in.: w Heidelbergu, Stuttgarcie, Bayreuth, wielokrotnie w Monachium, Brukseli, Lucernie, Schwetzingen, Wildbad, Krakowie, a także w Holguin i Santiago na Kubie. Jego obrazy znajdowały nabywców w Stanach Zjednoczonych, Belgii, Francji, Szwajcarii i w Niemczech. Jako muzyk Kraus uczył się gry na flecie poprzecznym oraz na perkusji u Perrego d. Santosa. Od 1984 roku Gerd Kraus pisze i wystawia sztuki teatralne. Będąc propagatorem oraz ekspertem w dziedzinie edukacji teatralnej dzieli się swoimi doświadczeniami ze studentami i przyszłymi nauczycielami. Od roku 2006 regularnie prowadzi wykłady oraz organizuje odczyty poetyckie. | Performing Artist, Author, Theatre-Director, Art-Therapist, Art-Teacher, Musician. Born in the ´Odenwald´ (Baden-Württemberg), he lives today in Bad Berneck (Fichtelgebirge) and Santiago de Cuba. 1960 Kraus began his studies in Painting and Graphical Art in Mannheim, Salzburg, later on in Munich. There he studied later on theatre-(science and pedagogics), lived as a freelancing artist. In 1969 he founded the experimental band "LIMBUS 3" and 2 years later "LIMBUS 4", which toured several years in Europe and produced 2 LP-Albums and a compilation. The following years Gerd Kraus initiated or he had been part of different cultural projects, actions, exhibitions, joined 2 Rockbands, worked as instructor and therapist in different institutions; finally he founded together with 2 musicians the still wellknown "Free Music Center Munich", (Freies Musik Zentrum München). He was director of this institute for 12 years. In between this period were resulting several painted cycles and actionrooms, such as “The Pan-Cycle”, “The Ikarus-Cycle”, “The Visual Geometry” and series of portraits. Gerd Kraus had art-exhibitions in Heidelberg, Stuttgart, Schwetzingen, Wildbad, München, Bayreuth, Bruxelles, Eger (Cheb), Luzern, Holguin and Santiago de Cuba. His pictures were sold in the USA, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland. As musician Kraus studied percussion and flute. Since 1983 he is writing and performing theatre-plays. Works as an instructor and trainer for students. Since 2006 Kraus is part of the poetry-slamscene in South-Germany. |
